When I was the UTGOP Secretary, I had the opportunity to work with Phill during his tenure as Vice-Chair. I was always impressed by Phill’s effectiveness as a leader. He is a strong conservative who is not afraid to fight for what is right. Now, with the caucus/convention system under constant attack, the 4th District held by a Democrat, and recent GOP losses in some state and local races, we need a strong leader who can effectively communicate our values and get more Republicans elected. We need someone who will be firm in their support of the caucus system, and fight against the government overreach into how we nominate our candidates. I believe Phill is the right man for the job at this pivotal time, and I am happy to endorse him in his run for Chairman of the Utah Republican Party.
