Phill understands not only the proper role of government, but also the proper role of the Republican Party State Chair, which is to be the voice and the spokesman for the will of the party as represented by the delegates and the State Central Committee. I don’t have any concerns about Phill doing a great job of this and not trying to run the State party like a King. Also, Phill understands the need to help restore the caucus convention system to it’s full authority, and not just pretending that it doesn’t matter because that’s “just the way it is.” I am confident Phill will support the law while trying to encourage the repeal of SB54 and the return of our constitutional right to freedom of association. Phill will be a great State Chair. Go Phill!
